Arthur Edward (ED) Whittaker Sr.

Upon getting married he lived on Hawarden Road, in Springfield, Delaware
County, PA. He had his own grocery store for several years. Lost this
store during the second world war when he went to work for Westinghouse.
He was a volunteer fireman and also drove the ambulance for the
Springfield fire company. Was a member of the local Masonic Lodge.
After the war he became a salesman selling refrigeration in Delaware.
In 1959 he took
the position as Vice President of Holly Oil, in Newark Delaware and he
and his wife, Barbara, moved to Newark, Delaware, where they built their
house at 207 Sunset Road.
